Job Activities:

Responsible for developing and optimizing injection molding processes to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times for both new and existing products
Conduct mold trials, validations, and capability studies to ensure robust manufacturing processes
Oversees the design, development, and maintenance of injection molds, ensuring they meet production and quality requirements
Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs for machines and molds to minimize downtime and extend tool life
Establishing and maintaining quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality part production
Analyze and resolve process issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary
Conducts root cause analysis for defects and establishes SPC controls for precision injection molding processes
Follow and implement quality management systems in line with IATF standards
Monitors key metrics such as cycle time, scrap rate, and machine efficiency to improve productivity
Provide technical support and training to production teams to ensure adherence to process parameters and quality standards
Schedules and manages production runs to meet customer requirements
Responsible for developing and maintaining process documentation, such as setup sheets and work instructions, while ensuring compliance with industry regulations
Plans for the necessary capacity of injection mold machines, auxiliaries, and associated facilities
Train operation staff on precision molded parts manufacturing and quality assurance
Drives continuous improvement in the injection molding process to enhance quality, reduce costs and improve overall efficiency
Coordinate with suppliers for development and manufacturing of new moulds and for maintenance of moulds
Monitor and maintain Injection moulds health conditions - Develop and monitor preventive maintenance plans
Follow and implement quality management system process in injection moulding with supporting documentations to satisfy IATF standards
Monitor and improve production metrics such as cycle time, scrap rate, and machine efficiency
Provide technical support and training to production teams to ensure adherence to process parameters and quality standard
Planning for injection mould machines, auxiliaries and associated facilities required, such as packing, space etc.,
