Sr. Manager/Manager – Plastic Production Expert

Job Activities:

• Responsible for developing and optimizing injection molding processes to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times for both new and existing products

• Conduct mold trials, validations, and capability studies to ensure robust manufacturing processes

• Oversees the design, development, and maintenance of injection molds, ensuring they meet production and quality requirements

• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs for machines and molds to minimize downtime and extend tool life

• Establishing and maintaining quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality part production

• Analyze and resolve process issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary

• Conducts root cause analysis for defects and establishes SPC controls for precision injection molding processes

• Follow and implement quality management systems in line with IATF standards

• Monitors key metrics such as cycle time, scrap rate, and machine efficiency to improve productivity

• Provide technical support and training to production teams to ensure adherence to process parameters and quality standards

• Schedules and manages production runs to meet customer requirements

• Responsible for developing and maintaining process documentation, such as setup sheets and work instructions, while ensuring compliance with industry regulations

• Plans for the necessary capacity of injection mold machines, auxiliaries, and associated facilities

• Train operation staff on precision molded parts manufacturing and quality assurance

• Drives continuous improvement in the injection molding process to enhance quality, reduce costs and improve overall efficiency

• Coordinate with suppliers for development and manufacturing of new moulds and for maintenance of moulds

• Monitor and maintain Injection moulds health conditions - Develop and monitor preventive maintenance plans

• Follow and implement quality management system process in injection moulding with supporting documentations to satisfy IATF standards

• Monitor and improve production metrics such as cycle time, scrap rate, and machine efficiency

• Provide technical support and training to production teams to ensure adherence to process parameters and quality standard

• Planning for injection mould machines, auxiliaries and associated facilities required, such as packing, space etc.,
