Sr. Manager/Manager – Wiper System Specialist

Job Activities:

• Project Management: Lead and manage wiper system projects from RFQ through design, testing, and production, ensuring all deliverables meet quality and timeline requirements.

• Technical Leadership: Provide technical direction on wiper system design, including motor selection and motor design of mechanical and electrical, linkage design, blade efficiency, and integration with vehicle electronics.

• Team Development: Mentor and develop a team of engineers, establish clear roles and responsibilities, and foster a collaborative working environment.

• Product Development: Oversee product development activities, ensuring alignment with customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including manufacturing, quality, procurement, and suppliers, to ensure smooth project execution and issue resolution.

• Quality & Compliance: Ensure all wiper systems meet quality standards and automotive regulatory requirements, including conducting design reviews and implementing corrective actions as needed.

• Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation in wiper system technology, identifying opportunities to improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance durability.

• Proven track record in managing engineering teams and delivering complex projects on time.

• Expertise in automotive standards and regulations, including experience with GD & T, APQP, and DFMEA.

• Strong understanding of wiper system components, including motors, linkages, blades, and control systems.

• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and interacting with customers.
